Sarah is a massage therapist with 7+ years of experience helping people feel more at ease in their bodies. Her trauma-informed practice focuses on co-creating empowering moments of inside out healing with deep comfort and respect. A master of the basics with 4 years studying and assisting at a nationally award winning massage school, she holds additional training in Orthopedic massage, Shiatsu, Ashiatsu, Lomi Lomi and other massage modalities.
We are honored to have Sarah’s trauma-informed practice in the Sweetgrass space for our clients and community as a whole. Sarah will be providing services in our space on Saturdays!

30 Min Massage
A small window of time for a more easy deep breath. We can focus on a specific area or get a reset with a full body check-in. Use this time to get to know how I work and see if a longer session would be helpful. Expect this session to be 45 minutes start to finish.

60 Min Massage
This session allows us to time to explore the vital connections from your head to toes. An opportunity to work on two focus areas or dive deeply into one while also revitalizing the whole body system.

90 Min Massage
This session allows us to time to explore the vital connections from your head to toes. An opportunity to work on several focus areas or dive deeply into one while also revitalizing the whole body system. This hour and a half session removes rush and introduces the time to follow connections as they arise. Expect this session to be 110 minutes start to finish.

A native of the San Luis Valley, Jesse left to study Anthropology and Spanish Literature at CU Boulder, and then to travel the country studying Permaculture and Regenerative Farming. His study of other cultures gave him a keen interest in various spiritual practices, starting with Zen meditation, followed by Qigong, Sanskrit chanting, and various forms of Shamanic practice.
Ten years later Jesse returned to the Valley to manage the Rio Grande Farm Park. There he met his wife, Marlena. After the birth of their daughter, he began feeling a call to a new line of work that better integrated his spiritual practice into his public life.
After much consultation with trusted friends and many hours of meditation- massage therapy presented itself as the avenue for his new career.
Jesse attended the Crestone Healing Arts Center for an intense tutelage under Dan Retuta, delving further into Qigong practice and integrating that into massage therapy.
Jesse offers a variety of modalities to work with bodily, emotional, and spiritual health including: Swedish massage, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Foot Reflexology, Facilitated Stretching, Guided Journeywork, and Qigong.
