Acupuncture

Meet Paula Kearney

My life's passion is to support people throughout this journey of life and health. I have been an acupuncturist for over ten years and founder of Two Trees Acupuncture. I graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado with over 3500 hours of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine training. I have dedicated my continual studies in acupuncture, herbalism, yoga teacher training, Arvigo Mayan Abdominal massage practitioner, Maizen facial rejuvenation certification, Usui Reiki master, and more. I follow a Japanese style of treatment philosophy and have expanded my acupuncture style to include Esoteric Acupuncture. My gentle treatment style focuses on listening and working with the body's energy to restore balance and ultimately bring the body into harmony for healing and expansion into a greater quality of life.

Paula’s Services

  • Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient method of natural medicine that, through the specific and caring placement of very thin acupuncture-specific needles, is able to trigger the self-healing mechanisms of the body to enable us to recover from pain, disease, and build resilience for general stress of life.

It is a wonderful complement to existing medical treatments that patients may be undergoing, as well as a stand-alone treatment for many conditions.

  • Bloom Acupuncture & Arvigo Maya Abdominal Massage

Bloom acupuncture treatments are an extension of multiple different treatment styles and training combined to bring the most comprehensive session focusing on the many aspects of Women's health. This includes the training by Dr. Rosita Arvigo for Arvigo Mayan abdominal massage, extensive fertility and womb healing modalities, acupuncture and Chinese herbs. These treatments are focused on supporting woman at all stages of life.

  • Flower of Life Acupuncture

This is a treatment for the emotional body and beyond. It uses acupuncture points placed in a specific order to activate sacred geometric patterns on the body to access deeper levels of healing following Esoteric Acupuncture principles. A guided meditation is offered if you wish to help visualize the geometric pattern on your body while you are resting with the points. This treatment includes Tibetan Sound Bowls & Reiki energy work to fully balance the body and integrate the session.

  • Facial Acupuncture

Facial acupuncture increases collagen production to help fill in lines and give the skin a natural face lift. It helps reduce swelling and puffiness around the eyes to give your face a radiant glow. It can also address deeper internal imbalances contributing to acne, hyper pigmentation, Bell's palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, broken capillaries and many other skin conditions. In this session we use Eminence Organics skincare for a custom facial, facial cupping or gusha and the Celluma Redlight therapy during your acupuncture session to help increase results and for your optimum skincare health.

  • Cupping

Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is thought to improve the flow of Qi or energy in the body and facilitate healing.

Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

  • Custom Chinese Herbals

Custom Chinese herbs is based on the practice of utilizing various herbs in specific combinations, some with uses dating back over hundreds of years, to harmonize the body in relation to the natural world against disease with a return to health in mind. TCM herbal medicine seeks to create formulas that allow the body to return to proper functioning and continue to maintain health and wellness. Each blend is created custom to what ailments you present with. The formula changes as you continue to heal until balance has been restored.
